Game servers
Minecraft and Terraria, vanilla and modded. Servers are only switched on when people want to play: if the one you want says Offline, ask James to start it.
Checking servers…
Can't reach the status service right now. The servers might still be fine; try again in a minute.
How to join
Getting in
Copy the address from the card above. Nothing else to install except the game itself (and mods for the modded servers).
Minecraft (Java Edition)
- Send James your Minecraft username. Both servers use a whitelist, so you have to be added once.
- Multiplayer → Add Server → paste the address → Done. No port needed.
- Use the same game version the card shows.
- Modded: use Prism Launcher. The Modded Minecraft card shows which pack is running and a link: Prism → Add Instance → Import → paste it, and you'll have exactly the same pack.
Hytale
- Servers → Add Server → the address from the card (no port needed).
- Ask James for the server password.
- Your launcher keeps Hytale up to date; the server updates itself too, so versions match.
Vintage Story
- Multiplayer → Add Server → Host: the address from the card (no port needed).
- Ask James for the server password.
- Use the same game version as the card shows. Server mods download automatically when you join.
Terraria (PC)
- Multiplayer → Join via IP → paste the address.
- Port: 7777 for Terraria, 7778 for Modded Terraria.
- Ask James for the server password.
- Modded: launch tModLoader (free on Steam) instead of Terraria. The server's mods download automatically when you join.
